CONSTRUCTION OF GRADE SEPARATOR AT HUNSUR ROAD AND ORR JUNCTION IN MYSORE CITY.
This is the first flyover in Mysuru City and on a crucial road that links Mysuru to Kodagu and Dakshina Kannada.
Outcomes and Achievements:
1. Movement of vehicles on service roads smooth. Mysuru: The much-awaited city’s first flyover at the Hinkal Junction on Hunsur Road. Even as the heavy vehicles moved on the flyover, the traffic flowed freely on the service roads below that connect all the major localities, with no traffic jams.
2. From the day the construction works commenced, traffic was hit on the stretch. A large number of vehicles, including heavy vehicles, buses and tourist vehicles, commute on the road. The NH connects major tourist spots such as Madikeri, Hassan and Chikkamagaluru.
3. Construction of Grade Separator consisting of Covered Portion. Obligatory Span, Approach Arms, Retaining Walls, Drains, Crash Barriers, Wearing Coat, Backfill behind Retaining Walls, Filter Media, etc. a per MORT&H / IRC / BIS Specifications, in Line, Grades, Section and Dimension as shown in Drawing, Soil Stabilization below RE Walls, etc.
